Overview

Installations Built Off a Real Plan

A landscape installation is the build phase of a design. We accept your existing landscape architect’s drawings, or take the design from blank slate ourselves — but in either case, the install runs to a plan, not by gut. Soil amendments, irrigation, plant placement, and mulch depth are spec’d before the first shovel hits the ground.

Three site visits in the first 90 days — inspections, irrigation tuning, plant adjustments.

How an Installation Runs

Pre-Construction Walk
Week 1

Walk the design with you, mark utilities, confirm specimen sources, finalize the schedule.

Site Prep & Grading
Weeks 2–3

Demolition, debris removal, grading, and soil amendments to lab-tested spec.

Irrigation & Hardscape
Weeks 3–5

Irrigation trenched and tested, any hardscape elements installed before plantings.

Plant Install
Weeks 5–7

Trees first, then shrubs, then perennials and ground covers. Mulch and edging to finish.
05

Walkthrough & Care Plan
Week 8

Final walkthrough, irrigation app handoff, written care plan with seasonal calendar.

Landscape Installations, Answered

Do you work from another designer’s plan?

Yes. We frequently install from drawings produced by independent landscape architects. We will spec-check the plan and flag any concerns before contracting.

What is the plant warranty?

A one-year replacement warranty on all plant material, covering die-back not caused by neglect, vehicle/animal damage, or extreme weather. Warranty walks happen at 90 days, six months, and 12 months.

Can you install in winter?

In our region we install most material between March and November. Late-season installs are possible for cold-hardy specimens; we’ll be honest about which plants do and don’t belong in a December dig.

How is irrigation handled?

Smart Wi-Fi controllers (typically Rachio or Hunter Pro-HC), separate zones per plant type, drip in beds, rotors in turf — all installed and tuned before final walkthrough.
